INDIA'S OWN ATLANTIS

MAHABALIPURAM, India Feb 18, 2005 — Archaeologists have begun underwater excavations of what is believed to be an ancient city and parts of a temple uncovered by the tsunami off the coast of a centuries-old pilgrimage town.

Three rocky structures with elaborate carvings of animals have emerged near the coastal town of Mahabalipuram, which was battered by the Dec. 26 tsunami.

As the waves receded, the force of the water removed sand deposits that had covered the structures, which appear to belong to a port city built in the seventh century, said T. Satyamurthy, a senior archaeologist with the Archaeological Survey of India.

Kids ?Not now

It is becoming a trend in modern society working couple to post pone having a child .Some of them have put that plan under cold shelf permanently. Is it a correct trend? These pele feel that children are a big burden for them .But at the same time they never stop themselve showing love and affection to anilmals. Can we realy think and analyse abot the reason? Why such a trend where money is flowing like water but no one to enjoy that. What has happened to present generation? Why an aversion for having a child at home? why do they think that children are dead investment and the pets are more lucrative investments? Where is the motherly affection gone? Can we forge the first touch of our children or the first time they went to schol ?how anxious a mother remailns whole day.....................
Well times are changing so are we .In present days people don't have time to take care of their children ?But than how they spend time and money on pets?
